Flatpickin - Celtic & Renaissance Music

The 2007 Maryland Renaissance Festival

The Maryland Renaissance Festival was hectic for me the first couple of weeks. Karen was only able to play on opening day, then was absent most of the season due to work schedule conflicts. Her brother, Jean-Guy Barbeau, who was slated to be her substitute, was also unable to play because of work schedule difficulties.

I hate playing solo, so I was frantically searching for a suitable substitute until Karen was finally able to return.

Many thanks to Marcel and Michael for finally stepping in to play with me in Karen's absence. Many thanks, too, to Adam and Chris as walk-on guests. Karen was sorely missed, and her return on the last day of the Festival was truly welcome.
